The goal of the adult outpatient program is helping clients sustain and deepen their recovery. Clients can remain in recovery either in a higher level of care (intensive outpatient or inpatient) or by demonstrating abstinence through community supports.
These outpatient groups are 90-minutes long and incorporate education, discussion, and process. Additionally, clients with specific needs and interests may attend groups with different focuses or frequencies, for example:
- groups for clients who have longer periods of abstinence and who want to expand their understanding of living in recovery.
- groups for those seeking to improve relationships damaged by substance use disorders.
Clients must have two months of continuous sobriety to qualify for the outpatient group. Those with severe mental health disorders may not be appropriate for the group, although they may benefit from our mental health program, Resource Group, for additional support.
The CARF Three-Year Accreditation was awarded to The Resource Group for the following programs: IOP/OP Adult Addiction Treatment
